The
Center for Animal Resources and Comparative Medicine (ARCM) at Harvard Medical
School operates the research animal programs and facilities for HMS and Harvard Affiliate
Organizations. Their site is located at:

While the initial page is a public page,
users will be required to authenticate via an eCommons login if they wish to review other information
on the site. The site
contains a variety of information including animal facility health status, bureaucratic procedures in animal research, biological
information and ARCM, institutional, State and Federal regulations
pertinent to use of animals in the Harvard Medical Area facilities particularly
those managed by the HMS Center for Animal Resources and Comparative Medicine.
These facilities include animal facilities: Harvard Institutes of Medicine (HIM) Animal
facility, Thorn Biosciences Research Building Animal Facility, the
Longwood Medical Research Center Animal Facility, Massachusetts College of
Pharmacy, BWH Animal Facility, and the Landsdowne Street Animal Facility. Please
