According to the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, “it is the institution’s responsibility to provide suitable orientation, background materials,
access to appropriate resources, and if necessary, specific training to assist IACUC members in understanding and evaluating issues brought before the committee.”
Therefore, in order to continue to have a conversant Committee, IACUC members must
take part in an annual re-training tutorial and successfully pass a related quiz.
This training is provided by the non-profit ResearchTraining.Org. The training consists of a 15 lesson modules for IACUC Members followed by a self
assessment quiz.
You must first register before you can take the certification quiz. It is recommended that you use your email address as your login name and a simple password.
