         Clinical Research Training -- This is a GCP course developed by the National Institutes of Health to train its own investigators. It may be accessed by others to enhance their knowledge of clinical research.

         The Association for Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) -- ACRP offers a variety of conferences, seminars and Certifications that are geared towards Coordinators and Investigators within the clinical research field. 

         International Society for Clinical Biostatistics -- The ISCB was founded in 1978 to stimulate research into the principles and methodology used in the design and analysis of clinical research and to increase the relevance of statistical theory to the real world of clinical medicine.

         Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R) -- Is dedicated to creating, implementing, and advancing the highest ethical standards in the conduct of research

         Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) -- Provides course offerings and certifications for Clinical Research Associates.

         NIH Guidelines on Inclusion of Women and Minorities as Subjects in Clinical Research -- August 2, 2000

         Minorities and Underserved -- The EthnoMed site contains information about cultural beliefs, medical issues and other related issues pertinent to the health care of recent immigrants to Seattle or the US, many of whom are refugees fleeing war-torn parts of the world.

         AIDS.org -- Designed for and largely catering to clinicians, this site provides a more hard-core medical perspective on HIV/AIDS.  Even so, there is fairly extensive treatment news and information, as well as an online bookstore with selected reviews.  Some patient information is available from this site.
