Introduction
Corticosteroids, commonly used for the treatment of various inflammatory disorders including minimal change disease, are recognized as an effective class of medications with myriad potential side effects or toxicities.

It is essential to review these possible adverse effects with a patient before prescribing them. Toxicity, in general, is related to both dose and duration of treatment. But even low dose treatment over long duration can be associated with adverse consequences.
