eSubmission Application Processing - PIs Start Here!

1)
Find and Register your
Grant Application Package
|
Use this link to find and register a funding opportunity package from Grants.Gov. Your package will be loaded to your
eSubmission folder, and your Research Administrator will be notified you are planning to submit! |
2) Edit your Grant Package |
(Note: there are now two options PureEdge and Adobe PDF for submitting packages - please select the correct link below. Institutional Facts:

3) Convert your research
documents
into individual
PDF files and attach

to your application package

Your package will contain PDF attachments; You will need a PDF converter. If you do not have one, select from the options

Use file copy to create PDFs; use the eSubmission _PDFConvertStart folder to automatically convert your documents into PDF files!
The resulting PDF file can be found in the \PDFDone folder while your original will be in \Originals folder. |

4)
Electronically sign your Grant Application Package
|
As part of the grant submission process you must certify that the application is compliant with federal guidelines.
When you have completed your eSubmission package, use this link to electronically sign your application. |

PDF Note: Grants.Gov PDF packages are very sensitive to the version of Adobe Reader/Writer used. Only Reader 8.1.1/8.1.2
& Writer 8.1.2 are able to safely edit a package; Using another version will
cause the package to fail processing when submitted. Click here for downloading Adobe Reader and details on issues. |
