Major Research Theme
| My research in bacterial resistance to antimicrobial drugs includes laboratory-based study of the mechanisms and molecular epidemiology of resistance, as well as the relevant clinical epidemiology. Glycopeptide resistance in enterococci has been a focus of my research. My other projects have included the study of imipenem-resistant Serratia marcescens, beta-lactam-resistant Escherichia coli, glycopeptide-intermediate-S. aureus and linezolid resistance in enterococci and Staphylococcus aureus. |
