Major Research Theme:

With other members of the BIDMC Comprehensive Epilepsy group, and colleagues at other centers, we study many forms of status epilepticus (especially nonconvulsive status epilepticus) and the management of those conditions.  We are also interested in clinical neurophysiology (especially EEG) applications and studies, plus epilepsy and altered consciousness in a broader area, extending to general Neurology.
