Major Research Theme:

I have pursued clinical research in diabetic nephropathy, serving as the BIDMC PI on the sulodexide overt diabetic nephropathy muti-center trial.  I am currently collaborating with Dr. George Tsokos in Rheumatology investigating pathogenesis of lupus nephritis.  I am also collaborating with  members of the Brigham Renal Division investigating the genetics of IgA nephropathy.
