Major Research Theme:

My laboratory has two areas of interest.

1. we are interested in the mechanisms by which nuclear receptors mediate transcriptional regulation of target genes. We use the thyroid hormone receptor and androgen receptor signaling systems as models.

2. we are interested in inderstanding the mechanisms by which nutritional pathways mediate the regulation gene expression in the hypothalamus.
