Major Research Theme:

We use basic immunology tools to: 1.) study the fundamental basis of T cell tolerance; 2.) design agents and regimens that create T cell tolerance and; 3.) use expression profiling molecular diagnostic strategies to help achieve tolerance through analysis of the host and allograft at the time of implantation and serially thereafter.
