Major Research Theme:

I am a clinical investigator in oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) with a particular interest in therapies that enhance the immune response to cancer.  The majority of patients under my care enter research trials that are translational in nature, with both laboratory and clinical endpoints.  My work has been supported by industry and NIH grants. I serve as clinical director of the Biologic Therapy Program which is a major participant in two Specialized Projects of Research Excellence (SPORE) grants from the National Cancer Institute in skin and kidney cancer in the Dana Farber/Harvard Cancer Center.
