Major Research Theme
| The eukaryotic cell does an amazing job of compartmentalizing itself both internally and from the external milieu. This process is particularly important in kidney function where important chemicals are recovered, waste excreted and the body is kept in balance. We focus on membrane permeability and the transport of water and small solutes such as urea and glycerol across cell membranes and how this impacts kidney function. |
