Major Research Theme
| My research interests are to understand the underlying mechanisms for the control of arousal and generation of ultradian rhythms like REM sleep. Investigative approaches to understand such mechanisms are: targeted lesions of selective neurons in different brain areas by conjugated immunotoxins or by the use of conditional transgenic mouse models. |
