Major Research Theme
| My major research interests include improving the care of patients with chronic illness and developing new models of primary care that address the current crisis in primary care. I have particular interest in the use of integrative medical therapies for the treatment of chronic illness and, as examples, have ongoing studies on the use of Tai Chi ( a meditative form of gentle exercise) as adjunctive therapy for patients with chronic heart failure or pulmonary disease. |
