Major Research Theme
| I am working with other investigators in evaluating a procedure service for teaching medical residents how to perform bedside procedures. We aim to improve patient safety by demonstrating a decrease in iatrogenic complications as the result of formal education and supervision and by defining a threshold above which trainees are deemed competent to perform procedures. |
